Lakanto Golden is a proprietary blend of two unique ingredients, Erythritol and Monk Fruit (Luo Han Guo). Erythritol is a sugar alcohol produced through the fermentation of non-GMO certified corn. It exists in many foods such as grapes, mushrooms, cheese, wine and beer.
The other ingredient – high purity Monk Fruit (Luo Han Guo) extract – is what makes Lakanto so unique. Grown mainly in the Guilin Mountains in southern China, this prized fruit has been used for thousands of years, earning it the nickname, “The Longevity Fruit.”
