Colonic Irrigation is a method of colon cleansing, commonly called a colonic.
Why cleanse the colon? An easy way to think about it is this – Waste = Weight. Typically people make sure to eat three to five meals a day, but pay almost no mind to whether or not the by-products of all that eating are actually getting eliminated. And if not being getting eliminated, this waste is sitting stagnant in the colon and building up and up and up, over years and decades.
Not only is food residue building up in the colon, but metabolic wastes and foreign toxins like food additives, drug residues and industrial pollutants as well. This waste build-up is toxic to our bodies and can be the cause of debilitating degenerative disease as we get older.
SO in order to stay light, youthful and full of energy, one of the most important things that we can do for ourselves (besides eating well and exercising of course) is to make sure that our colons are getting properly cleansed.
In our experience, Colon Hydrotherapy, is the most gentle and effective form of colonic irrigation, or breaking up and cleaning out all that waste build-up. There are several methods used within the practice of Colon Hydrotherapy, including the Gravity Method (simple and machine-less), the LIBBE Method (uses a machine but is still gravity-centered) and the Pressure Method (which stops the flow of water at a certain pressure point so as to not harm the colon). It is advised to do research on all methods in order to find out which method you personally feel most comfortable with before booking an appointment.
